Well, we broke with tradition this year and held the annual club Christmas party on the Atlanta Highway at Unitarian Fellowship of Montgomery and everyone seemed to agree that everything went well. Plenty of space, easy to get to and overall, a pleasant experience. We had an excellent turnout with over 50 club members. Food was delicious and plentiful. As for Dirty Santa…well…that depends on who you ask. Some got what they wanted and some got robbed, but that’s how Dirty Santa works. Just when you think you have it figured out you realize that you don’t.We will say…there were plenty of laughs to go around for everyone.
As always we want to thank the hard working ladies (Pam, Cathy and Doris for sure) and all the great food that was brought for us to share and enjoy. They decorated the room in a festive way and the holiday spirit was definitely present all night. We heard lots of favorable comments and nothing negative so thanks again to everyone and next year…let’s do it again…
Above, you see Brandon presenting the Needham Award to Russell and Cathy Whigham. This award is given yearly to the people who work hard to help our club move forward. Below left is Bob Smith receiving the Canavan Award for the member who has made the most improvement on their vehicles in the past year. Congratulations to all and keep up the good work.
