At the end of each year, awards are presented to members who most exemplify the aims of the British Motoring Club — the Canavan award, starting in 1996 and donated by Mike & Jan Canavan when they returned to England, for most improved car(s), and the Needham award, beginning in 2003 and donated by George & Kathi Needham, recognizes a member for club participation. Recipients receive their awards at the year-end Christmas party and keep the award at home until it is returned for the next winner. Because these awards are not seen by many or most members except for a few minutes each year, we’re listing all of the past recipients here in recognition of their contributions to the club.
