The Pensacola British Car Show was once again great.
It all began with Ron and I meeting Steve Butler and Tamara in the parking lot of the Days Inn, then a little while later seeing Lee and Mary Oxford driving in. After visiting with other car show people from Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana and admiring all the cars in the parking lot, it was time to sprinkle a little water on our faces and head to the Red Beans and Rice dinner hosted by the Pensacola Car Club. It was a case of good food, good company, and a good time.
The show was great over 100 cars registered for the show, some beauties to behold for the first time. Bill Silhan, known for his exotic cars, had a MARCOS, I had never heard of the make, let alone seen one before. It was a masterpiece.
We really have to thank Mary for all the pictures taken at the show. We had good intentions, however, the camera took lots of pictures from our hotel room, yes, we forgot to take it to the show.
Lee and Mary entered their MINI and won 2nd place in their category, Ron and I placed 2nd in our category, plus I won several prizes, so a good day all around.
